UN General Assembly Causes Street Closings

Street and Sidewalk Closing Affect Manhattan During
United Nations General Assembly 

There will be major traffic disruptions for both vehicles and pedestrians until Wednesday, October 1. 

Expect the worst this week when many world leaders will be in town. President Obama will be here tomorrow and Wednesday.

The United Nations General Assembly opened its 69th session on Tuesday, September 16 and will continue until Wednesday, 
October 1. 

The NYPD has released the area map shown with planned street closures, lane restrictions, and security checkpoints.
