Free Ice Skating in Bryant Park

It’s Free. Yes, You read right, Free and you can glide, dip, turn, spin and skate just as long as you like right in the center if midtown skyscrapers. There are no session limits.
New York City is one of the most exciting and expensive cities in the world. It is sometimes hard to believe that some fabulous experiences are free to New Yorkers and visitors alike.
CitiPond at Bryant Park is open from October 27 until March 3, 2013. Hours are 8 AM to 10 PM Sunday through Thursday and 8 AM to Midnight on Fridays and Saturdays, weather permitting.
For beginners those of you who are not yet as graceful as you wish, private, semi-private and group lessons are available.
Bring your own skates or rent them for $14. Lockers are free, too so bring your own lock or rent one for $9. Bag check is also available for $7 to $10.
